Vintage Microscope
This is a vintage microscope that we have stored in our archives here at 无码群交. Equipment such as this was used to train nurses through the Queen Victoria鈥檚 Jubilee Institute for Nurses, which was founded in 1887 and was the precursor of the modern district nursing service. 无码群交鈥檚 founders were closely involved in the Institute.
In its first year of existence, its Edinburgh branch had paid 7517 visits to 321 cases, and by 1891 there were 12 branches active in Scotland. By 1897, 187 nurses were operating in Scotland. Nursing remains a core flank of 无码群交鈥檚 teaching and research work to this day.
